5.1: The Morning After- Maxwell and Fran come back from Niles' sick bed,
Fran is sure that Maxwell is ready for commitment. However, Maxwell STILL isn't
ready so he distracts Fran by allowing her to redecorate the kitchen.

5.2: The First Date- Maxwell invites Fran on their first real date to a
very exclusive dinner party given by Elton John. Unfortanately, Fran is in the
film verbally abusing Elton. Then trying to hide her idenity, she she dresses up
as Grandma Yetta.

5.3: The Bobbie Fleckman Story- After winning a radio contest, Brighton
gets the chance ot be in the new Brian Setzer Orchestra video and it's being
filmed at his house. With Brian Setzer comes his record company's vice president
of promotion, Bobbie Fleckman. Fran and C.C. get upset when it appears that Max
is falling for Bobbie.

5.4: Fransom- Fran nedding to earn some extra money to buy a present for
Yetta, Fran becomes C.C.'s dog walker. While preforming her duties, she flirts
with a fellow dog walker, she doesn't notice that he's walked off with Chester.
The dognapper demands $20,000 ransom, but Fran and Val devise a plan to catch
him and retrieve the dog.

5.5: The X-Niles- In their ongoing efforts to become Mrs. Sheffield,
Fran and C.C. decide it's time to get an expert opinion. Dr. Joyce Brothers is
brought in to decide which of them would make the best wife for Maxwell.

5.6: A Decent Proposal- Maxell wants to talk Chevy Chase into doing a
one-man show on Broanway, so he and Fran Travel to Atlantic City to meet the
legendary comedian. But while Maxwell is trying to woo Chevy, Chevy is busy
wooing Fran. Delighted at the chance to make Maxwell jelous

5.7: Mommy and Mai- Fran and val get a suprise visit from Mai-Ling, an
orphaned Cambodian girl they have sponsored since they were in high school. Her
presence wreaks hhavoc on the household. Bickering over who is the better
"mother," Fran and Val eventually seek the help of a marriage
counsoler. But when Brighton agrees the marry the girl so she can get a green
card, they realize the true nature of Mai's visit.

5.8: Fair Weather Fran- Fran's fears she will become loveless are
increased when she meets Yetta's fiance Sammy. To improve her image, Fran
decides to pursue her secret dream of becoming a weathergirl and Sammy suggest
she should ask his nephew Bryant Gumbel for a job.

5.9: Educating Fran- Romantic sparks ignite when Fran meets Maggie's
philosophy professor, Steve Goldberg, who seems perfect in every way- he's
handsome, Jewish and a doctor. And several successful dates, including meeting
with his overbearing mother. Fran is convinced that Steve will propose to her.
There's only one problem- Steve's fascination with astrology borders on an
obsession. And when Steve's psychic advises him never to marry a younger woman,
Fran's little white lie about her age comes back to haunt her.

5.10: From Flushing with Love- When Fran announces that she is going to
Niagara Falls for a Fine Family vacation, Niles convinces her to take the rest
of the family, hoping that the landscaping setting will encourage Maxwell to
propose to her. The unwitting Maxwell is lured to Niagara, while the entire Fine
Family awaits the marriage proposal. Fran sets the stage on a romantic cruise.

5.11: Rash to Judgement- When Fran works up the courage to ask Maxwell
on their second date to a Michael Bolton concert, she dicovers the night of the
date that she as an unsightly rash covering her body. Fran finally gets Maxwell
alone and in the mood for love, until Fran has an allergic reaction to the
mediation and swells up like a balloon.

5.12: One False Mole and You're Dead- When Maxwell gets a glmorous star,
Margo Lange to star in his latest production, Fran accidently exposes her false
mole. Fran accidently then tells the gossip columnist Cindy Adams.

5:13: Call Me Fran- Fran realizes that her relationship with her father
is a resemblance of the one she has with Maxwell, they both keep Fran at arms
length emotionally. Fran convinces Maxwell to get over his fear of commitment
and call Fran by her first name instead of calling her Miss Fine. Meanwhile
Maggie tricks Brighton into being her date to a bring-a-geek party at her
soritiy.

5.14: Not Without My Nanny- When Grace is invited by her friend, the son
of a fabulously wealthy sultan, to visit the Middle East, Maxwell makes Fran
travel with her. Fran and Grace are thrilled to be staying at the beautiful
palace of the charming sultan, until Fran realizes that the sultan is holding
them both prisoners. After planning there excape, Maxwell shows up to rescue
them.

5.15: The Engagement- Worried that Maxwell will never propose, Fran is
overjoyed to discover that he is secretly bought an engagement ring and soon ask
her to marry him. When Maxwell ask Fran and the Fine family to donner for a
special occasion, she spreads the word of a marriage proposal.

5.16: The Dinner Party- Fran feels low after attending her first high
society party as Maxwell's fiancee. Hurt to discover that some of his friends
are making fun of her behind her back, Fran confesses her fears to a sypathetic
homeless man.

5.17: Homie-Work- After Sammy convinces Fran that his nephew is a
brilliant rap artist, she secures the nephew an audition for starring role in
Maxwell's new urban rap musical. Much of her dismay, Fran discovers upon meeting
the "rapper" that he is really a "gift wrapper" and a neard.

5.18: The Reunion Show- Fan and Val are attending there high school
reunion and see a variety of their old friends, including the poplular class
clown Ray Barone. When Fran discovers that her female friends who she thought
were happily married now, are all divorced and bitter, she begins to wory about
her recent engagement to Maxwell. Fran confronts Maxwell with her concerns about
marriage and they get in their first fight as an engaged couple.

5.19: Immaculate Concepcion- When Maxwell's father passes away, he leave
his entire estate to his illegitimate and unknown daughter.

5.20: THe Pre-Nup- Concerened about his financial security, Maxwell
wants Fran to sign a pre-nutptial agreement. Fran is upset with this.

5.21: The Best Man- Fran is upset when she discovers Maxwell dated Marla
Maples one and a half years prior. But she becomes frantic when Maxwell's
brother Nigel arrives to be Maxwell's best man. She is afraid that Maxwell will
find out about their previous engagement.

5.22: The Wedding- The day before the wedding, when Fran goes to her
parent's place with Val so Fran won't see her. When Fran, Val and Sylvia go to
New Jersey and get a flat tire they are stranded. Eventually they are rescued by
Max. Then the wedding is back on track, until Maxwell's sister Jocelyn opens her
mouth about her impeding divorce to her former chauffeur shakes Fran's
confidence that people of different classes can't stay married.
