Fran gets a chance to meet her long-time pen pal Lenny,
which prompts Maxwell to accompany her to the Russian Tea Room to check
him out, meanwhile Niles and C.C. are left alone at the house.

C.C's brother Noel bets C.C. that he can do
the impossible: get Fran o Jeopardy.

Heather Biblow, Fran quickly loses control of herself in a several day
shopping to drown her sorrows, causing the Sheffields to be worried about
her. Maxwell gives her the medicine she needs.

Maxwell hires a gorgeous publicist named Sydney
to raise is public profile and he falls for her. This makes Fran and C.C.
jelous. But no need to worry, she's a lesbian.

When Maxwell goes to Boston with C.C. Brighton and
Gracie, he leaves strict insturctions for Maggie not to have a party. So
Fran and Val have one instead, a single party where people are charged
with an entrance fee, which lands Fran in trouble with the law and
Maxwell.

When Maxwell's critical mother comes to
town, Maxwell proposes to Fran just to get his mother's goat, but it

Fran walks out, leaving the Sheffields in search of her.

Fran's having a midlife crisis of sorts: her

want to be seen with her nanny anymore and her mother and father are

to go through "bestfriend withdrawl." C.C. quits after Maxwell
refuses to give her equal partnership.

When Fran discovers that her feet have grown,

that she is looking old, prompting her to pay a visit to a plastic
surgeon.

When Liz Taylor visits, Fran foolisly
decides to deliver the black pearl necklace that Liz is planning to wear.

3.22: The Hockey Show-
Fran starts dating a hockey player who figures that
Fran is his good luck charm.

3.23: That's Midlife-
When Maxwell's latest play bombs, he begins to
question his whole life's work and purpose, causing Fran to worry enough
to try and trick him into therapy.

3.24: The Cantor Show-
Fran gets a date with the handsome new Cantor at
her Temple and brings him to Maxwell's, where the Cantor is tapped for
Maxwell's new Broadway show by Burt Bacharach, prompting the Cantor to
leave the Temple for a career on Broadway.

3.25: Greed Card-
Maxwell insists that Brighton get a tutor after he fails
French, but Maxwell immediately regrets his decision when the smooth
Frenchman romances and proposes to Fran.

3.26: Ship of Fran's-
Fran plans to spend some much needed vaction time
with Val on a Caribbean cruise but when Maxwell frets over the idea that
Fran might finds someone and leave him, he decides to go on the same
cruise too along with the other Sheffields, Niles, C.C., Sylvia and Morty.

3.27: Pup in Paris-
Before Maxwell heads off to Paris to check up on his
brother and his new nightclub, the bag gets mixed up with C.C.'s bag
containing Chester. When she heads to the plane, she gets stuck and
accompanies Maxwell to Paris but on the way back Maxwell say something
Fran has been waiting for.
